Where is the best Pho in the NYC Metro area? Apparently in Atlantic City!
As it happens, Vietnamese immigrants were drawn to this East Coast gambling destination for the casino jobs. After several years, a growing Vietnamese community developed and started opening up their own businesses, including several authentic restaurants serving a greater diversity of Vietnamese cuisine than typically found in NYC. While the big city gets all the attention for having the depth and breadth of cultures and cuisines from around the globe, New Jersey is no slouch. It is a state that manages to hold its own in the ethnic cuisine department with stellar Korean food in Englewood Cliffs and Indian cuisine in Edison that is vastly better than anything in NYC.
That settles it, we are hitting up some Pho joints in South Jersey this weekend!
